FIELD: method of production of salt enriched with sodium chloride at adequate purity; foodprocessing industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes cooling crude salt in saturated aqueous solution of sodium chloride to temperature below temperature of conversion of anhydrous sodium chloride to sodium chloride dihydrate; prior to cooling crude salt, it is subjected to grinding; after cooling, powder containing sodium chloride is subjected to granulometric fractionation; as a result, fine granulometric fraction and coarse granulometric fraction containing enriched salt are obtained.
