FIELD: gasification of carbon materials. SUBSTANCE: in a method including gasification of fuel in fluidized bed and burning fuel in boiler unit, two-stage processing is accomplished by using pure oxygen in countercurrent with solid and liquid phases between the two stages. In the gasification stage, original fuel, smoke fumes from boiler unit, and oxygen to stabilize desired temperature conditions are supplied. Oxygen supplied in the combustion step is used to provide complete carbon oxidation in remains of unconverted fuel from gasification stage. Proportion between amounts of heat evolved in combustion stage and carbon monoxide produced in gasification stage is controlled by way of blowing away a part of smoke fumes withdrawn from boiler unit. To provide required solid fluidization condition in gasification stage, a part of gases from gasification stage outlet is recycled to inlet of this stage.
