FIELD: medicine, microbiology. SUBSTANCE: method involves sowing the analyzed culture of tuberculosis mycobacteria on solid nutrient medium in the presence of sodium nitrate. Distilled water is applied on the medium surface additionally. Incubation is carried out for 4-7 days and then Griss reagent is added. Culture is considered to be resistant if distilled water is stained with red-rusty color but sensitive to drug at the absence of staining. EFFECT: improved method of assay. 1 tbl
