FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: silencer has housing 1 inside which diffuser 2 with inlet branch pipe 3 is mounted, resonator chamber 4, contraction 5, and outlet branch pipe 6. The inner spaces of the diffuser and contraction are separated with perforated baffles 7 and 8. Space 11 between housing 1 and diffuser is in communication with resonator chamber 4. Space 13 between housing 2 and contraction 5 is in communication with output branch pipe 6. EFFECT: improved silencing. 4 dwg
