SUBSTANCE: steel body of cylinder block is manufactured mechanically; cavities are made on inlet side of cylindrical holes; these cavities are brought in communication with cylinders; after mounting sleeves or rods in cylinders, they are moulded with antifriction material (brass, for example) simultaneously or successively forming bearing members in inlet portion of cylinders; boring the sleeves or rods is effected simultaneously with boring the bearing member.
