FIELD: machine engineering, possibly manufacture for example of cylinder blocks of axial-piston hydraulic machines.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of placing in openings of blank rods for forming inner cavities of blank; sealing gaps between rods and blank; placing flux and surfaced metal in technological cavity; closing technological assembly by means of lid and arranging it in heating device; heating and soaking blank in heating device till full melting of surfaced metal by action of heat transmitted from blank; setting in heating device temperature whose value exceeds by 50 - 200°C melting temperature of surfaced metal. Flux provides creation of protection atmosphere. Blank is kept in heating device for 2 - 60 min. Metal melts and fills gaps between rods and blank. Then blank is removed from heating device. Technological cavity is heat insulated for 1 - 2 min, blank is cooled, rods are removed and blank is subjected to final mechanical working.
EFFECT: enhanced quality of blank due to good cohesion of surfaced metal with blank.
