FIELD: transport engineering; railway vehicles with pneumatic brakes and other systems and main lines with pneumatic or hydraulic systems. SUBSTANCE: shutoff-relief valve has cylindrical housing with at least three rows of bypass holes located over circumference. Housing accommodates plunger loaded by spring fixing the plunger in operating open position, thrust bushing limiting displacement of plunger in closed position, two rows of bypass holes communicating with each other. Plunger is made of two cylindrical parts with sealing collars. One of plunger parts is provided with through axial holes. Cylindrical cup with ring groove and coupler for connecting housing space to main line are installed on housing. Two rows of bypass holes indicated above communicate through ring groove made in cup. Cup has union installed for communicating housing space with emergency system in case of breakage of main line. EFFECT: improved reliability of brake system. 1 dwg
