STABILIZED INFRARED GUIDANCE DEVICE Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

Abstract RU 2099750 C1

FIELD: instrumentation engineering, development of guidance systems of flying vehicles gyro-stabilized in space. SUBSTANCE: proposed device includes telescope, line-frame scanner optically coupled to radiation detector, two-degree-of-freedom gyro, gimbal suspension with pickups of moment and angle, electron unit processing image signals and controlling sight line with amplifiers of drive connected with input to radiation receiver and with output to pickups of moment of two-degree-of-freedom gyro amplifier of drive on each axis of gimbal suspension is connected with input to pickup of angle of two-degree-of freedom gyro and with output - to pickup of moment on each axis of gimbal suspension. Line-frame scanner is manufactured in the form of two truncated conical mirror polygons joined with smaller bases and mounted perpendicular to axis of their rotation which is perpendicular to longitudinal axis of gimbal suspension and is inclined at angle of 45 deg relative to its lateral axes. Faces of one of them conjugate to objective lens of radiation detector are installed at identical angles to axis of its rotation. Faces of other one conjugate to telescope are mounted with inclination to axis of rotation so that inclinations angles of faces of one half of its circumferential direction are displaced with reference to inclination angles of faces of second half of its circumferential direction by angular value proportional to angle of momentary vision field of scanner over width of line of frame. In each half of circumferential direction of polygon angle of inclination of each following face is displaced with regard to preceding one by angular value proportional to angle of momentary vision field of scanner over width of scanning strip corresponding to length of rule of multielement radiation detector. EFFECT: enhanced functional characteristics of device. 4 dwg
