FIELD: technical physics, geoelectric prospecting by method of transient process and by probing of formation of field in nearest zone. SUBSTANCE: process of geolectric prospecting lies in excitation of nonstationary electromagnetic field by switching off current Io in generating-receiving circuit, in determination of maximal amplitude U of polarity of emf of self-induction of circuit, in supply of voltage E1 with polarity opposite to emf of self induction to generating-receiving circuit in time interval from t1 to t2. Voltage E2 with polarity opposite to emf of source forming current Is fed in time interval from to - start of switching off of current to t1. Emf of nonstationary electromagnetic field is measured with delay Δt of start of counting relative to time to and is used to determine geoelectric characteristics of examined section. Time moments t1 and t2 are so selected that there is no inherent oscillatory processes in generating-receiving circuit in recorded signal. Voltage value E2 and time delay Δt of start of counting are determined from relations E2≥4, Δt≥t2-t0. EFFECT: improved authenticity of process. 7 dwg
