FIELD: driving general-purpose mechanisms. SUBSTANCE: electric drive has three-phase induction motor, capacitor, two power switching members some of whose leads are provided with terminals for connection to power supply phase and neutral and other leads are connected, respectively, to starting leads of first and second phases of motor winding whose third- phase starting lead is connected to starting lead of second phase; finishing lead of phase is connected to one of capacitor leads, its other lead being connected to second-phase finishing lead; second capacitor is inserted between finishing leads of third and first phases; in addition, switching member is connected between finishing leads of first and second windings; second capacitor circuit also incorporates switching member. EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities. 1 dwg
