FIELD: electrical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical equipment and can be used in mechanisms requiring the asynchronous motor in the operating mode anti-induction mode and the reactive power compensation. Asynchronous electric drive contains a three-phase asynchronous motor, three capacitors and two switching elements with a control unit. In the operating mode, the switching elements are closed and the capacitors are connected in parallel to the mains phases, providing the reactive power compensation, and in the anti-induction mode, the switching elements are open and the capacitors are connected between the start of the two phase windings.
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the electric drive in the operating mode energy indicators by the power factor and the symmetry of the voltages increasing due to the capacitors to the mains phases symmetrical connection.
