FIELD: reception of digital messages; demodulation of relative-phase-modulation sync signals. SUBSTANCE: receiver has generator of two 90 deg. shifted reference waves, two correlators, two gating units, resolving unit, as well as clock synchronization unit incorporating filter, controlled oscillator, and control signal shaper; in addition, it is provided with synchronization data discriminating unit inserted between outputs of gating units and filter input and incorporating level computing unit and level increment variation analyzer which produce synchronization data from correlation function readings which are single-step on clock interval and from correlation signal shaper; it also has correcting signal shaper and multiplier which use demodulator to recover synchronization sign and to reject false synchronization data. EFFECT: improved noise immunity and simplified design due to using demodulator units, in addition to their main function, for reducing effect of noise on clock synchronization unit. 3 dwg
