FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying polygibberellin growth regulating agent "Gibbersib" on vegetating plants of sunflower and rape at the dose 10-40 g/ha. This preparation has 50% of different gibberellins sodium salts. Plants were treated by ground spraying (0.005-0.01% aqueous solution, 400 l/ha) or by aerosol generator using 2-4% solution (0.5-1.5 l/ha). Plants were treated at phase of "heads (rosettes) formation-onset of flowering" - for sunflower and beginning from the phase of 5-7 leaves - for rape. Method ensures to increase sunflower productivity by 4-5 c/ha (by 12-15%) and increase oil content in grains by 3-13 absolute%. The corresponding values for rape are 47% and 2.5-2.8%.
