METHOD FOR PROMOTING OIL CROP GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves spraying vegetative oil-bearing plants once or twice during growing period with growth promoter at dosage rate of 1.0-10.0 g of active substance per 1 hectare; treating sunflower twice: at initial phase and at mass flowering phase at preparation dosage rate of 4-10 g/hectare; treating cotton plant once during budding phase at preparation dosage rate of 5.0-7.5 g/hectare; treating rape once during 5-7 leaves phase at preparation dosage rate of 1.0-2.0 g of active substance per hectare. Method allows oil content of sunflower seed core to be increased by 2.3%, of cotton plant by 2.2% and of rape by 3.2% and consumption of growth promoter to be reduced by 8-80 times.
