TAPE MATERIAL CUTTING DEVICE Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: packing equipment; food, textile and printing industries; cutting of laminated tape. SUBSTANCE: device has table 1, guides 2 and rocker 4 secured on table. Hold-down 5 is mounted on one end of rocker 4, and shaft 6, on the other end. Drum 7 coupled with drive 8 is arranged under working surface of table 1. Knife 10 is installed near hold-down 5. Table vertical wall 12 with stop 13. Hold-downs 14 are installed at outer side of guides 2 for turning in vertical plane. Cowl 15 with gauze 16 in lower portion is mounted over guides 2. Cowl 15 is connected with pneumatic pump 17. Rocker 4, knife 10 and hold-downs 14 have drives 18, 19, 20, respectively. Limit switch 21 electrically coupled with control unit 23 is installed on end of guides 2. Control unit 23 serves to control operation of drives 18, 18 and 20 and pneumatic pump 17.
