SUBSTANCE: method involves foaming by three-stage technology using an intermediate stage of thermostatic control in the heated air flow at impulse regime and using detoxicants and chemical additions. Method ensures to produce polystyrene foam granules of regular structure and decreased density. Properties: granule density is 9.5 kg/$$$, strength at 10% deformation - up to 1.0 MPa, heat conductivity coefficient - up to 0.035 Wt/m x degree, water absorption for 24 h - 0.8 vol.%, strength of polystyrene-concrete articles - up to 19.8 kg/$$$, volume mass - up to 350 kg/$$$, free styrene content = 0.
