FIELD: industrial organic syntheses. SUBSTANCE: current reactor input concentration of ethylene oxide is calculated by way of controlling concentrations of desalted water and ethylene oxide aqueous solution from measured difference between input and output temperatures. Thereafter, from specified optimum distribution of output products, optimum concentrations of ethylene oxide and recycled glycol are calculated and further, utilizing material balance in mixer, optimum intakes of water, ethylene oxide aqueous solution, and glycol are found. Using static model of reactor, minimum temperature needed for heating reactor input mixture is also calculated, whereupon current intakes and heating temperature are corrected by means of varying commands for local controllers, and optimum values of ethylene oxide and recycled glycol concentrations are maintained by means dynamic stabilization. Current reactor input concentration of ethylene oxide is calculated from mathematical expression. EFFECT: optimized process parameters. 2 cl, 1 dwg
