FIELD: various branches of industry. SUBSTANCE: pyroxylin gunpowder is ground, organic impurities are extracted by chlorinated hydrocarbons. Then gunpowder is additionally treated with 8-20 % nitric acid, the process takes place at 70-90 C. Then treatment with water is carried out in autoclave at 120-145 C.
