FIELD: production of composite materials.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a cast composite material for making articles for structural and electrical purposes, containing binder—novolac phenol-formaldehyde resin, aerosil, kaolin, talc and glass filler, according to the invention, the material additionally contains muscovite, flint, calcium oxide and zinc stearate, as a glass filler it contains glass fiber with length of threads from 100 to 200 mcm with the following ratio of components, wt.%: novolac phenol-formaldehyde resin—43–44; aerosil—1–3; kaolin—2–3; talc—1–2; muscovite—2–5; flint—1–2; calcium oxide—2–3; zinc stearate—2–3; glass fiber—39–42.
EFFECT: injection molding composite material with increased electric strength and possibility of material processing by method of injection molding or pressure casting.
