FIELD: drilling equipment, in particular, downhole hydraulic percussion drills applicable in geological prospecting and mining industry. SUBSTANCE: spring-loaded accumulator operating together with downhole hydraulic percussion drill accumulates energy of working fluid at the moment of hydraulic impact and compensates high consumption of fluid in separate phases of working cycle of hydraulic hammer. The offered accumulator includes body, upper and lower adapters, piston separating body internal hollow into accumulator and pressure chambers, and spring located in accumulator chamber. Located in central part of body is pressure tube whose ends are secured in upper and lower adapters. Accumulator chamber is sealed. Recess communicating accumulator chamber with pressure chamber is located on the side of lower adapter in zone of extreme position of piston. EFFECT: economically efficient operation of downhole hydraulic percussion drill. 2 cl, 2 dwg
