FIELD: tunneling and stoping machines with rock cutting by rotating cutting head. SUBSTANCE: tunneling machine has frame, hydromechanical working member with cutting crown, mechanisms moving the working member with hydraulic drives, pumping unit, hydraulic control valves for fluid supply to drives of moving mechanism, pressure converter with device for high-pressure water supply to nozzles. Pressure converter is made in form of boosters installed in crown, hydraulic puller and distributor installed in input end of working member shaft. Immovable part of distributor is made with four sectors which are connected with pumping unit by means of hydraulic lines for supply of water to boosters through control device. The latter is made in form of four hydraulic valves OR connected by its inlet channel to bridge circuit. Opposite pairs of inlets are connected with respective inlets of hydraulic drives of mechanisms moving the working member. Each OR valve is connected by its outlet channel with one of distributor sectors. Communication of OR valves may be made in form of two hydraulically connected with outlet channels of opposite OR elements, and outlet channels are connected with opposite distributor sectors. OR valve may be made in form of three-way, three-position hydraulically controlled control valves connected to form closed circuit by means of control lines, and outlet channel of each control valve is connected with one of distributor sectors. OR valves may be made in form of two pairs of four-way, three-position hydraulically interconnected control valves whose controlling channels are connected by pairs with control lines, and outlet channels of control valves and connected with distributor sectors.
