FIELD: mining machinery and equipment. SUBSTANCE: operating member of mining machine has body, cutter holders, passages for delivery and feeding wetting liquid, cutters with shanks, devices for fixing cutters in cutter holders, and shut-off devices for closing passages for feeding wetting liquid. Cutter holders are secured on body. Each cutter holder is provided with longitudinal passage for accommodation of cutter shank, and with working chamber. Every wetting liquid delivery passage is connected with respective working chamber. All cutters are installed in longitudinal passages of corresponding cutter holder with possible limited axial displacement. Each wetting liquid feeding passage is created by external side surface of cutter holder and surface of wall of longitudinal passage in corresponding cutter holder. Every cutter holder is provided with at least one additional passage for feeding wetting liquid to cutting part of at least one adjacent cutter. Additional passages are connected with respective passage for feeding wetting liquid to work face and is located at angle to work face. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 6 dwg
