FIELD: mechanical engineering; engines. SUBSTANCE: Stirling engine has two bores 20 and 21 adjoining the cooler 9 and located in main line 10. Bores are placed in communication with ring channels of cooler by means of tangential channels 22 and 23, one bore 20 being connected to regenerator 9, and the other bore 21, being connected through tangential holes 24 to cold space 5 of cylinder 1. provision of two bore connected through tangential channels with ring channels of cooler makes it possible to create turbulence in working medium, thus intensifying heat exchange and, consequently, increasing engine efficiency. EFFECT: increased efficiency. 5 cl, 3 dwg
