FIELD: sporting cartridges for rifled weapon. SUBSTANCE: bullet has a metal envelope and a lead slug projecting over the envelope cut in the nose. The envelope has a variable thickness. The envelope thickness in the section with a length of 0.8 to 1.2 of the caliber from the envelope cut makes up 0.03 to 0.04 of the caliber, and in the transition from the nose to the leading part it equals 0.05 to 0.06 of the caliber.
