FIELD: testing. SUBSTANCE: characteristic feature of proposed method lies in measurement of static load of wheel on vibration platform, in vibration of wheel within frequency range embracing resonance frequency of vibrations of unsprung mass of automobile suspension, in measurement of amplitude of vertical dynamic contact loads between wheel and vibration platform, in registration of minimal value of vertical dynamic contact loads between wheel and vibration platform at moment of steady-state mode of forced vibrations, in measurement of minimal value of vertical dynamic contact loads between wheel and vibration platform at moment of resonance and in determination of efficiency of shock absorber by formula.
