FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in exciting single oscillation in tested shock absorber, measuring vibration acceleration by accelerometers, and plotting shock absorber amplitude-frequency curve. Suspension is excited by either one-time bleeding on-the-spot, or head-on crash, or one-time loading at test bench. Vibration acceleration is measured by accelerometer mounted on shock absorber rod. Signals are recorded with the help of data acquisition module and transmitted for processing. Received signal is processed by cepstral analysis and plotted curve is analysed for peaks and their relative magnitude. Numerical characteristic is compared with preset value for particular shock absorber to judge on its state and reveal knocks.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of estimation.
