FIELD: electronic equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electronic technology, namely to electro-optical converters (EOC) with a luminescent screen, and can be used for recording and temporal analysis of fast processes. Electro-optical converter contains a photocathode, a cylindrical accelerating electrode, an axisymmetric focusing electrode, a cylindrical anode with a diaphragm, an image scanning system and a fluorescent screen. Diaphragm is located in front of the anode. Focusing electrode is formed by the inlet cylindrical part and the output cylindrical part of smaller diameter, joined by the transition part.
EFFECT: improved image quality on a fluorescent screen.
