FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: high-voltage insulation system includes insulation of conductor sections integrated into bars and resin-impregnated multilayer main insulation made of fabric base mica tape; each layer of this insulation is wound on bar; next layer after first one is made of mica tape with one layer of fabric base, with mica layer facing the bar. First layer of insulation abutting against bar is made of three-layer mica tape with fabric base on either side which should be better made of glass fabric.
