FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: turbogenerator rotor has directly gas-cooled field winding 1 whose conductors 1a, 1b, 1c, and 1 b are placed in slots 2 of forged rotor 3 and closed with wedges 4. Insulating strip 6 is fitted between bottom of longitudinal slot 2 and field winding conductor 1d above it. According to invention, fitted between insulating strip 6 and mentioned conductor 1d of field winding 1, at end portion of rotor, is elastic gasket 8 in the form of parallel strip, better in the form of corrugated spring, to compensate for field winding sagging. Gasket 8 stretches from end of forged rotor 3 towards its center. For locking gasket 8 in axial position without contracting main section of slot 9 this gasket is provided with two downward projections 20 entering side depressions 10 of insulating strip 6; apart from longitudinal slots 2 forged rotor 3 has main slots 9 on its both end portions.
