FIELD: medicine, otolaryngology. SUBSTANCE: method deals with hermetic obturation of external auditory meatus by using a rubber oliva with internal channel. Then registration of pressure changes is conducted in external auditory meatus and tympanic cavity by a manometer for 3-5 minutes at total patient's rest, that is at no deglutitory and masticatory movements and strain. At pressure increase during survey process the presence of supplying effect of pharyngotympanic tube is predicted in such a patient. EFFECT: higher efficiency of diagnostics, more accurate indications for operative treatment at chronic perforative otitis media.
