SUBSTANCE: device relates to medical technology and otorhinolaryngology. The device is a nasopharyngeal vacuum pressure gage (rhinopharyngitis vacuum pressure gage) which contains diaphragm capsule, transmission gear, scales on the face for measurement of positive pressure from 0 to 120 mm Hg, negative pressure from 0 to (-30) mm Hg, eustachian tube patency while carrying out Toynbee's test, which is on the scale of negative pressure, marks of pressure safety while carrying out Valsalvs's and Politzer's tests. The nasopharyngeal vacuum pressure gage with attached flexible tube, for example, a rubber tube, the other end of which is joined to olive is used during testing. The device enhances diagnostic effectiveness of Toynbee's test, Valsalva's manoeuvre and Politzer's test, widens their diagnostic capacities, and allows measuring of air pressure for therapeutic intervention in case of middle and/or inner ear disease.

EFFECT: enhancement of diagnostic effectiveness of Toynbee's test, Valsalva's manoeuvre and Politzer's test, possibility to measure air pressure for therapeutic intervention in case of middle and/or inner ear disease is appeared.
