FIELD: biotechnology, biochemistry, enzymes. SUBSTANCE: a basic inhibitor of proteinases is isolated from organ extracts and unpurified solutions containing high concentration of salts. Unpurified solutions were obtained from cattle organs by their homogenization, extraction, separation of proteins and lipids. Adsorption is carried out on macroporous polyacryl cation-exchange resin containing carboxyl groups at pH = 7-10.5 from solutions (conductivity is 6 mS, not more) followed by desorption of the end product with salt solution at pH = 1-13 and its isolation by the known methods. The isolated inhibitor can be used in medicine. EFFECT: improved method of preparing. 1 tbl
