FIELD: biotechnology, medicine, biochemistry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of preparing basic inhibitor of proteinases from cattle organs. Method involves milling the parent raw, extraction with hydrochloric acid aqueous solution at pH 1.9-2.1 in the presence of sodium chloride taken in the amount 15-16 g/1 l of mixture for 10-12 h. After the first ultrafiltration stage the concentrate is purified from lipids and inert proteins by pH value increase to 4.8-5.2, heated up to 75-77 C followed by cooling to 20 C. Precipitate deposit is separated by centrifugation and the obtained supernatant fraction is combined with concentrate after its ultrafiltration through hollow fibers with pores size 5 kDa and then mixture is fed to chromatography purification.
