FIELD: electrolytic processes. SUBSTANCE: busbar is disposed along electrolyzer on one or two its longitudinal sides and contains cathode and anode packs with branches and flexible chutes. The two packs are disposed in one vertical plane and joined to one another by uprights. Buses are arranged in packs with their wide faces in horizontal plane and have bypass devices between them. Invention makes it possible to reduce production areas occupied by busbar and electrolyzer on the whole, to decrease metal usage for busbar and effort spent to its manufacture and mounting. EFFECT: reduced dimensions of equipment and power consumption. 3 cl, 1 dwg
