FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: risers are connected with pack of module busbars of input side through connecting busbar packs. Some busbars are positioned under electrolyzer bottom. Central pack of module busbars of input side is connected with central riser through busbar pack positioned under electrolyzer. Busbar packs conducting current to outer and intermediate risers are connected in equipotential points between packs of module busbars of input side. Such embodiment allows required rated current distribution along busbar branches to be provided, nonuniform distribution of current along cathodic bars to be decreased and, as a result, running over of current and magnetic force affecting melt to be reduced. EFFECT: increased capacity of electrolyzer and reduced power consumption. 1 dwg
