ELECTROLYZER ANODE BUSBAR WITH SELF-BURNING SIDE CURRENT-SUPPLY ANODE Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

Abstract RU 2111290 C1

FIELD: aluminum production. SUBSTANCE: in a method of producing aluminum by electrolysis in cryolite-silica melts, anode bus packets are constructed for their displacement in vertical plane. The packets are connected with anode rods through flexible band packets, and anode triggers are constructed in the form of rigid buses with clasps on them to bring them in contact with current-supply pins. EFFECT: eliminated manual labor when fulfilling transposition of anode triggers and reduced loss of power in the anode trigger-pin contact units.
