METHOD OF MANUFACTURING LAYERED PAPER FOR MAIN LAYERS OF DECORATIVE PAPER-LAMINATE PLASTIC Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: pulp-and-paper industry. SUBSTANCE: original fibrous semiproducts, in particular, bleached sulfate hardwood pulp and unbleached sulfate pine-wood pulp are ground separately. From ground bleached sulfate hardwood pulp, suspension for formation of one of outside layers is prepared, and, from ground unbleached sulfate pine-wood pulp, the same for formation of remaining layers. Moisture-stabilizing additive, polyamine/amido/epichlorohydrin resin, is added to both suspensions to cast all layers into fibrous suspension of bleached sulfate hardwood pulp in amount 0.05-0.15% on absolutely dry fibers and, into unbleached sulfate pine-wood pulp in amount 0.02-0.075%. Suspensions thus obtained are used to form individual layers, outside one of bleached sulfate hardwood pulp constituting 15-50% of total mass of all layers.
