FIELD: mechanical engineering; engines. SUBSTANCE: engine has split housing accommodating two intersecting ring cylinders. Space for output shaft is made inside engine housing in its center. Four arc-shaped pistons are arranged in ring intersecting cylinders. Arc shaped pistons are made to suit shape of cross section of ring intersecting cylinder. One nonthrough cylindrical recess for pins of four joints is made on each inner spherical surface of pistons. Each joint consists of hollow cylindrical pin and sector part with cavities being main parts of volumes of four combustion chambers. Output shaft has central spherical surface on which four inclined slots are made. Slots are arranged at angle relative to each other and to longitudinal axis of output shaft. EFFECT: increased specific power, torque, economy of engine and improved balancing of mechanism. 7 dwg
