SUBSTANCE: rotary-piston engine has housing with two intersecting ring cylinders, each accommodating two pistons 24, and output shaft 9 arranged in housing space and provided with central spherical part 10 with slots 33 made at angle relative to each other and to axis of shaft. Pistons 24 are connected with output shaft 9 through units 31, each including sector part 32 arranged for displacement in corresponding slot 33 on spherical part 10 of output shaft 10, and pin 30 located in hole 29 of piston 24. With four rotating pistons 24 interacting, variable capacity spaces are formed inside cylinders in which intake, compression, working stroke and exhaust of gases take place. As a result, four four-stroke cycles are executed during one revolution of shaft. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 3 cl, 5 dwg
