FIELD: manufacture of engines; transport facilities. SUBSTANCE: engine has housing with two intersecting circular cylinders where pistons are located, output shaft located in cavity of housing and provided with central spherical part; each cylinder contains two pistons; central spherical portion of output shaft is provided with slots which are located at angle relative to each other and to axis of shaft; pistons are connected with output shaft through units; each unit includes sector part located for motion in respective slot available on spherical surface of output shaft and pin received by hole of piston. Specific feature of engine consists in position of combustion chambers which are located on tail portions of pistons. Combustion chambers consist of cylindrical cavities with holes on outer and end surfaces of pistons; air cavities of four slots of output shafts are interconnected by means of passages having calibrated orifices. At continuous cyclic delivery of fuel, air-excess coefficient of combustible mixture changes automatically depending on magnitude of load: at reduced load mixtures is leaned and at increased load, mixture is enriched.
