SUBSTANCE: control member electromagnetic drive, mainly drive for fuel injection pump fuel metering valve has housing 1 with electromagnet placed in housing bore. Electromagnet has hollow magnetic circuit with stop 3 consisting of parts 4,5,6 and 7, solenoid 8 consisting of two or more interchangeable sections 9 arranged in parts 4,5 and 6 of hollow magnetic circuit 2, and armature 10 designed for engagement with stop 3 and made of separate sections. Sections of solenoid are divided by member 11 of magnetic circuit 2 made in form of member and stop with bore 12, 13 for arrangement of members 14, 15 of armature 10. Armature is made in form of core of solenoid or its part with rigidly coupled mushroom shaped members 16,17 in number corresponding to number of control members. Number of members and stops and respectively, mushroom-shaped members of armature is at least by one that number of solenoid sections, and their parameters are chosen in preset range of relationship relative to cross section area of solenoid core. Armature can be placed on guide journal rigidly coupled with housing or magnetic circuit. Journal can constitute a part of solenoid core.
