FIELD: mechanical engineering; transport diesel engines. SUBSTANCE: centrifugal speed governor has housing, speed sensor with coupling mechanically coupled with fuel metering unit and main lever, control lever mechanically coupled with main lever through intermediate lever with pressure bushing, and also resilient member and rod. In speed governor designed for two-mode control, cantilever portion of rod is installed in centering bore of pressure bushing, and axles on which main and intermediate levers are hinge-mounted are arranged in housing so that the levers and rod coupled with the levers form leverage close by its kinematics to articulated parallelogram.
