FIELD: decontamination of radioactive wastes; cementing radioactive calcine with high sodium content for long-time storage of cement block. SUBSTANCE: dry residue of radioactive wastes is placed in ferrophoaphate cement matrix. For the purpose, it is mixed up with ferric oxide (III) and orthophosphoric acid with following proportion of ingredients in terms of metal oxides, mass percent: Na2O:Fe2O3:P2O5 = (11.5-12.2):(31.7-35.7):(52.8-56.1), mixture is formed and aged, then subjected to heat treatment at 300-350 C. Metal-working industry residues with high content of ferric oxide (III) are primarily used as binders. EFFECT: high degree of cement block filling with sodium. 2 cl, 4 tbl
