FIELD: television video signal transmission, analysis and monitoring systems, applicable in those cases when video signal contains background and noise components. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in a combination of operations providing for separation and accumulation of signals of the black - and white-level video signal for N television fields by N-fold summation. The obtained averaged signals after correction are introduced to the signal to the area of the line blanking pulse. At reception averages signals are separated from the video signal and used as reference ones at monitoring of the noise level, at analog-to-digital conversion and computer processing. Gate signals generated on the basis of line and frame synchronizing pulses provide for separation of the black and white levels from the composite color signal, independent processing of the signal of the picture subject-important part.
