FIELD: making of marking on diamond, pearl, precious and semiprecious stone. SUBSTANCE: for execution of marking the area on the surface to be marked is exposed to radiation by an Afr - laser, whose input beam is passed through a mask which determines the marking. Identification or security marks may be applied. The same method may be used for manufacture of strong and reliable extrusion heads having incorrect cross-sections and cross-sections which vary with depth in material.
