SUBSTANCE: single-axle cross-country vehicle with compensation of reactive torque on cab has drive axle with wheels and base with cab divided into habitable and engine compartments. Longitudinal carrying beams of the base rest on support and idle rollers available on the end of the axle beam. The habitable compartment with operational controls is installed on the carrying beams in front of wheels, while the engine compartment with engine, transmission and separate drive for axle beam is so fastened to the carrying beams behind the wheels, that the center of the cab gravity is positioned below the wheels axle. The drive to the axle beam shifts the base on the support rollers relative to the drive axle for creation of torque moments, which compensate reaction moments, which tend to deviate the cab in the course of movement.
