FIELD: aviation; automatic coupling of electric lines of aircraft components, for example, engine and engine nacelle or units separable in flight at reliable compensation for axial misalignment of components being coupled. SUBSTANCE: device includes connector members 3 and 4 mounted on respective objects in form of plug and receptacle; one mating connector member is mounted on object by means of floating attachment. Device for orientation includes at least one pair of sleeve 5 and pin 6 secured concentrically on one object and at least one hollow catcher 7 secured on other object; catcher 7 is provided with cylindrical section and conical section 8. Pin 6 is provided with spherical end 9 and toroidal surface with two guide bands; they have equal diameters and are received by cylindrical portion of catcher. Conical portion 8 of hollow catcher 7 is provided with radial projections 11 which may be received by slots 12 in sleeve 5. Radial projections have starting sections 13. Device for automatic coupling of connector members includes leverage secured on one of objects with at least one driven member 19 coupled with one of connector members which is secured on this object for axial motion relative to it. Besides that, connector members of device and elements of orientation device of connector members are secured on panels 1 and 2; one of these panels is elastically connected with respective object by means of spring shock absorber 20; drive leverage is located on panel.
