FIELD: drying technology; wood-working industry; manufacture of furniture. SUBSTANCE: method consists in preliminary boiling of blanks in 12-15-percent sodium chloride solution for 2.5 to 3.0 hours at atmospheric pressure. Then blanks are subjected to convective drying at temperature of 62-66 C for 8-24 hours. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 2 tbl
