FIELD: military equipment, check of aircraft sighting means. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in fixing the frame of aircraft reference to the target placed before the aircraft, determining the error between the reticule indicating the required position of the sight fixed axle zero on the target and the true position of the sight fixed axle zero. Fixing of the frame of aircraft reference to the target is performed in flight, after which target tracking is effected by manicuring of the aircraft with a fixed aiming angle. The adjustment error is determined as the difference between the fixed aiming angle-fixed axle zero and the estimated aiming angle determined on the Earth according to the results of objective check with the use of the relation given in the claim. EFFECT: facilitated procedure.
