FIELD: nuclear engineering. SUBSTANCE: neutron flux recorder has target built up of neutron deceleration layers alternating with layers of thermal and slow neutron recorders which are, essentially, gaseous-discharge neutron counters uniformly arranged in each layer. Each layer of counters is connected to respective electric pulse counter of electronic unit. Recorder is capable of detecting energy distribution of directed neutron fluxes in the range of energies from thermal to 20 MeV. EFFECT: enlarged operating range of recorder. 2 dwg
